Maharashtra BJP's Yuva Morcha criticises Rahul Gandhi over RSS remarks

Condemning Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's statement equating RSS with the banned organisation SIMI, Maharashtra BJP Yuva Morcha has decided to protest against the leader by showing black flags when he visits the state next.

"We condemn the statement by Rahul Gandhi equating RSS with banned terrorist organisation like Students Islamic Movement of India. We would protest his future visits here with black flags," president of Yuva Morcha, Sambhaji Patil Nilangekar today said in a release.

Nilangekar alleged that this was a deliberate attempt by the Congress to create confusion ahead of Bihar polls.

RSS is the only organisation dedicated to the country's unity. However, had if Rahul known history properly, he would not have made such an immature remarks, the BJP Yuva leader said.

During his tour in Madhya Pradesh, Rahul yesterday said both organisations have hard-line fundamentalist ideologies which evoked sharp reactions from the RSS and the BJP.
