Pune blast: Sudanese student dies, toll rises to 16

A Sudanese student injured in the Germany Bakery blast died at a hospital here today, taking the death toll in the terror attack to 16.

Twenty-two-year-old Anas Elphat Suleman, a science student of
Poona College, passed away at the Jehangir Hospital this morning, hospital sources said.

He is the fourth foreigner to die in the blast that rocked the popular eatery in Koregaon Park on February 13.

The blast claimed the lives of three other foreigners -- a 26-year-old Sudanese student Amjad Elgazoli, an Italian woman Nadia Macerini and an Iranian man Sayyed Syed Khani.
