Three dacoits held in Nashik, two pistols, cartridges seized

City police has arrested a three-member dacoit gang in the city's Cidco locality and recovered from them two country made pistols, nine live cartridges, chilly powder and some weapons when they were proceeding for dacoity, police said today.
     
Police trapped the gang members when they were moving in a suspicious manner in the locality on Saturday night. When police enquired them they started fleeing and the police nabbed them.
     
Names of the arrested persons are Hari Vijay Chothe, Prashant Nirmal and Ramdas Katore from Nashik. They were produced before a local court here and remanded in police custody till April 21, police added.
