103 killed as Nigerian plane crashes

LAGOS: A Nigerian jet airliner has had an accident at an airport in the southern Nigerian oil city of Port Harcourt, aviation and security officials said on Saturday.
 
A radio report said 56 people had been killed. Other reports said only seven of the 110 people on board survived.
 
Seventy-five secondary school students were on board the plane.
 
The Sosoliso Airlines flight bound for Abuja crashlanded and burst into flames, killing all but four people on board, the radio station Rhythm FM reported.
 
Silverbird TV said there were 110 people on board, and that 56 bodies have been recovered.
