Govinda in a scrap with TV reporter

MUMBAI: A reporter of the Janmat television channel has accused actor-turned-MP Govinda of forcibly snatching her tape after an interview that lasted an hour and a half. The interview took place at the actor’s office in Juhu between 8pm and 9.30pm.

The reporter said Govinda spoke about Bollywood’s alleged nexus with the underworld, the videotape that claimed to expose his ties with the Dawood Ibrahim gang, and his failure to perform as a Member of Parliament.

It was unclear what charges the reporter would be pressing.
