Neat freak: This angelic petit actor may look like she is perfectly made out but the truth is she likes a slightly dishevelled unkempt chic look. “I don’t wear anything which needs a touch up, like lipstick or nail polish.”

Eye-catching: Her mind-boggling range of footwear, that even Imelda Marcos would envy. Gorgeous, bright green, unusually-shaped Guccis, Roberto Cavallis and dainty Bruno Magli pink sandals are unmissable. Her current favourite is a pair of open-toed Miu Mius. “Aren’t they all gorgeous” she smiles.

Passed over: Her huge collection of hats, because she only wears them when she is in Europe. Wool, felt, floppy, suede, with wide brims, in crochet - she has them in all shapes and sizes. “I wear them when I’m travelling. It’s a fun and chic element which adds to your ensemble,” she says.

Taking stock: “My wardrobe is full of diverse elements,” says this mix and match enthusiast, “I don’t like a matching ensemble.” She loves a charm bracelet so much that she has even designed her very own charm necklace which is invariably a topic of conversation when she dons it.

Seasonal must-haves: “Right now, I love velvet,” she purrs. You will find the softness of velvet and satin in her wardrobe this winter. Her accessory for the season is a satin or a velvet sash which can be worn on a jacket or dress.

Definitely passable: “I would never wear any thing which takes too much of a performance or a long time to put,” she avers. That’s the reason why she never wears her gorgeous Italian boots, simply because it takes to loooong to tie them up! “I would also NEVER EVER wear skin-tight or skimpy outfits,” she cringes.

Patronising: Not obsessive about a brand or a designer she says, “I go with what I enjoy and there is a variety of designers who I like to wear. I like Anna Sui, Donna Karan and Armani, but I mainly wear Indian designers.”

Quirky: A wonderfully dramatic Gothic dress, which sweeps the floor and is a real showstopper. “I wore it for a social evening two years ago; it’s sheer drama.”

Steal worthy: Her perfect peaches and cream complexion.
