LONDON: Bath University, home to UK’s only research centre devoted to the study of death, says its masters programme in death and society is aimed at “greater understanding of death in its social and cultural context.”
Glennys Howarth, who is overseeing the programme, said it would appeal to “a broad range of people” from health care professionals to those planning a career in the funeral industry.
“Since the 1990s, the UK research community has been at the forefront of research and produces some of the best research on the social aspects of mortality.”
“People who graduate from the M.Sc. in Death and Society will be well placed to continue this tradition.”
