Samir Soni’s doing up his dream home

Actor Samir Soni may not be part of ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin’ anymore. But the debonair Soni is working on an exciting plan. He reveals, “I am doing up my flat in Versova. It’s very special to me. I want it to be picture-perfect.” He adds, “A close friend is helping me with the interiors. It’s occupying a good share of my time.”

Quiz him about his sudden dismissal from ‘Jassi…’ and he denies it, “It was not a sudden exit. The story demanded it. There’s nothing more to it!” Samir does admit that it was Purab’s immense popularity that inspired his “second coming” in the show.

So is he on an extended holiday after ‘Jassi’? Samir replies, “I am shooting for Rajshri Productions’ film ‘Vivaah’ starring Shahid Kapoor. I am also doing a few plays. I will be leaving soon for Bangkok for a show.”

The investment banker who quit Manhattan to pursue Bollywood dreams adds, “I have never planned my life. I believe in taking things as they come.”
