JODHPUR: Bollywood star Salman Khan's parents arrived here on Monday to meet the hero, who is Jailed in connection with the chinkara poaching case.
According to official sources, Salman's father Salim and mother Salma arrived here via a regular flight and were received by their son Sohail and Salman's bodyguard Shera at the airport from where they drove to the Taj hotel.
The actor has been lodged in the Central Jail from August 25 on court orders. Yesterday, Salman's siblings and friend Katrina Kaif had visited him.
According to jail rules, prisoners can meet their relatives only once in 15 days. And as Salman's relatives met him on Sunday, special permission would be required by his parents to meet their son. Efforts are on acquire the permission.
The Rajasthan High Court would hold hearings on Salman's review and bail petitions on August 29. He would be released only if the High Court grants him bail.
