No Mumbai-based person arrested for Jaipur blasts
Amidst reports that a Mumbai-based person is among those detained in connection with the Jaipur serial blasts, the Maharashtra police denied receiving any such information.

MUMBAI: Amidst reports that a Mumbai-based person is among those detained in connection with the Jaipur serial blasts, the Maharashtra police said on Wednesday that they have not been informed of any such detention or arrest by their Rajasthan counterparts.
"I have been in touch with the DGP, Rajasthan and we do not have any such information," Maharashtra's Director General of Police A N Roy told reporters here, adding that so far there have been no arrests in connection of the case.
Quoting sources, reports in a section of media said that one person identified as Vijay, originally from Mumbai, has been detained in connection with the blasts. Vijay was staying in Rajasthan for past few weeks, the reports said.
"We will co-operate with the Rajasthan police if they seek information about the bomb blast cases investigated by us or the past-record of anyone. But so far no such request has
come," Roy said.
The DGP said security was tightened across the state following the Jaipur blasts on Tuesday and units have been asked to keep a special watch on any suspicious movements.
A team from the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad will be leaving for Jaipur once the situation calms down to study the blasts and assist the investigators there, if needed, Roy added.
