Ajay Devgan and Kajol celebrated nine years of marital bliss on Sunday

Ajay Devgan and Kajol’s marriage is still going strong, not withstanding stray rumours. Ajay says, “Though romance is still a part of it, our relationship has matured. It’s more about sharing and caring.”

However, he shows his romantic side when he confesses, “I want to believe in love at first sight and soulmates. I’d like to believe that love is instinctive.”

He continues, “Why do we always try to justify all things in life? I don’t like it when people say that feeling attracted to someone is a chemical reaction. It takes away the beauty of the whole thing.”

Is it tough being loyal with pretty girls around and he answers with a straight face, “It’s entirely up to you. One has to decide what one wants. If you decide to stray you do, but if you don’t want to, you won’t.”

Ajay, who has turned director with U, Me Aur Hum, wielded the baton on the sets. But who calls the shots at home? “It depends. If it’s a domestic matter then it would be her, but if it is something which I would know better of, it would be me,” he smiles.

Would he advise marriage to everyone? “I wouldn’t advise it to all. But I do believe it’s a beautiful thing if you are prepared for it and are confident about the person you are getting married to.”

Ajay says one needs to constantly work on a relationship. “Don’t you work on things when you’re trying to woo a person? Similarly, you need to work on
the relationship if you value it,” he reasons.
