Dhoni to be 'Dainik Bhaskar' brand ambassador

MUMBAI: Leading Hindi daily 'Dainik Bhaskar' on Monday signed India's one day and Twenty20 captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its brand ambassador.
    
Dhoni himself said, "I am proud to work with 'Dainik Bhaskar' as I see many similarities in our success stories. I hope that my association will bring the brand the results they are expecting."
    
President, Ad Sales and Marketing of the daily, Rajiv Jaitly said, "Dhoni has an attitude towards the game similar to what we have toward publishing."
    
The 50-year-old Hindi daily is the first brand signing a celebrity brand ambassador in the print media, he said.
    
Jaitly said these are exciting moments for Bhaskar as the brand continues to spread covering the newly emerged markets of India in smaller towns.
    
"The brand has found Dhoni as a perfect fit for promotion, as he is a shining real life example of an ambitious individual," he added.
