Jacko sparks outcry by moving opposite primary school

WASHINGTON: Pop superstar Michael Jackson, who was involved in a controversial child abuse court case, has sparked an outcry among worried parents after he moved into a villa opposite a primary school in Las Vegas.
 
The decision by the 50-year-old megastar to move into a Spanish-style villa, just yards from the school for students aged four to 13, has upset parents.
 
Though the pop star was cleared of child abuse in 2005, parents of the 600 children at the school have complained about his choice of residence.
 
"Some parents say they don't want their children near Jacko," an anxious parent said.
 
"They say he can see the kids getting on the school bus from his house," the parent was quoted as saying by the The Sun newspaper. A school spokesman refused to comment.
 
Jackson moved back to Vegas last year with his children Prince Michael, 11, Paris, ten, and Prince Michael II, six.
 
According to the British tabloid, Jackson is being put up by casino owner Steve Wynn who is trying to persuade the shy superstar to appear in a comeback show.
 
According to local residents, keeps a low profile surrounded by a team of bodyguards. His fans congregate outside the gates of his Spanish-style mansion.
 
Jackson's new compilation album 'King Of Pop' has climbed dramatically to be among the top ten in the album chart, from 47. 'King Of Pop' is being released in celebration of Jackson's 50th birthday.
