Apple working on iPhone with foldable screen: Report

In what may thrill Apple lovers, the company is reportedly working on a foldable iPhone and it is currently under testing. With all smartphone manufacturers working on foldable devices, the tech giant is also putting in efforts so that it doesn't lag behind.

According to Bloomberg's report, the foldable screen for the iPhone is being tested. Apple is doing internal testing of the new prototype foldable screen. At present, the company is currently working only on the display. However, nothing has been known about the body of the new phone.

It is being said that Apple may launch a new Foldable iPhone to compete with its rival Samsung.

Notably, since last year, almost all the big companies have started to bring foldable phones in the market. Samsung launched the new Samsung Fold. At the same time, Motorola also launched the new Motorola Razr. Chinese companies are also not behind in making foldable phones and are planning on launching their own foldable phones.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Apple has announced a cashback offer on the purchase of products. This is a limited offer, which will start from January 21 and customers will be able to take advantage of this offer till January 28. According to the statement, a customer will get a cashback of Rs 5,000 on placing an online order from any Apple store in India. Notifications of this offer can be seen on the Apple Store India webpage. However, there will be some conditions. As a first condition, this cashback offer will be available only on HDFC Bank Credit Cards and HDFC Credit Card EMIs. While the second condition will be to place a single order of Rs 44,900 or more. A cashback of Rs 5,000 cannot be found by combining multiple orders.

There are reports that Apple is reportedly planning to launch a new subscription service that would be focused on podcasts.

The tech giant is currently in talks with production companies about the service which would charge people to listen to podcasts, reports The Information.

By charging for individual podcasts, Apple could give creators a new way to make more money, which may convince them to leave rival services
