Did Kapil Sharma just call his wedding with Ginni Chatrath a PR stunt?

Ace comedian Kapil Sharma is grabbing the eyeballs once again, this time for a couple of things that he said on the latest episode of his comedy show. The comedian-turned-actor was in conversation with the cast of the upcoming film Thackeray. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Amrita Rao were seen promoting their film upcoming release on the show. 

During the course of their conversation, Amrita congratulated Kapil on his wedding to his long time girlfriend, Ginni Chatrath. On this, Kapil said in jest that his marriage to Ginni was a PR stunt and added that he was actually shooting for a movie with her. He further said that now that they're married, they can openly flirt with each other. 

At another point in the show, when the Vivaah actress told Kapil Sharma that she finds her husband to be perfect and feels that he hasn't got any flaws, Kapil called her a sweet wife, adding that he wants to marry her. In case you still didn't get it, Kapil had been joking all this while. 

On a related note, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen essaying the role of Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray in his biopic while Amrita Rao will be playing his wife on screen. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on January 25, 2018 and will clash with Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi at the box office.
