An aircraft with at least 95 passengers and five crew members on board crashed near the city of Almaty in southeastern Kazakhstan on Friday.
The plane was destined for the capital, Nur-Sultan, and “lost altitude during takeoff and broke through a concrete fence” before hitting a small building, Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Committee said in a statement.
At least 14 casualties have been reported so far. Emergency services are currently working on rescue operations and survivors are being evacuated.
Footage has emerged of rescuers working at the scene.
