Here is a list of states with highest number of IAS officers:

Uttar Pradesh: UP has the highest number of IAS officers with 529 officers

Madhya Pradesh: The state has around 400 IAS officers

Maharashtra: 338 IAS officers are reportedly from Maharashtra.

Agmut: Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory come in the fourth position with the highest number of IAS officers.

West Bengal: There are 290 IAS officers as of January 11, 2021, from the state.
