A team of students from Mudra Institute of Communication Ahmedabad won 'the national finals of L'oreal brandstorm-2010' on Thursday in Mumbai.

The team called 'Brandwith' comprised Aaron DSouza, Ramesh Krishnan T and Sukalyan Roy. They will now represent the country in the finals to be held in Paris in June where it will face international teams from across 40 countries in June '10.

Around 169 teams participated in the competition of which only 4 teams were selected for the finals. "4 months of hard work has finally paid off" said Aaron D'souza, "but the work has just begun".

Appreciating the competitions Roy said, "This competition is a virtual simulation of the real world and taught us more than what any classroom can ever teach us."

In the competition the teams had to put themselves in the shoes of a brand manager. After analysing the market the teams had to build a new marketing strategy, design the packaging of the given product, and develop a communication campaign with a renowned advertising agency.
