Ritesh Ritolia , topper of the batch of 371 in the post-graduate programme in management, said the biggest lesson he learnt was to be humble. “There’s no success formula, although to some extent, there is luck involved. I think I’ve met some of the best minds here,” said the electrical engineer from IIT-Roorkee who plans to start an entrepreneurial venture in two years.  Having learnt to work in a team, Shravan Chandra Sharma (2nd rank), is heading to London to join the banking sector.

“I will come back to India in five to 10 years,” he said. Anish Nazimudden (best all-rounder performance), said: “I learnt that anything is possible if you make an effort. After learning some lessons in the consulting sector for 10 years, I will start something here.”

Harsh Vittal Badli (1st rank), who completed his post-graduate programme in software enterprise management, said it was the fulfillment of a dream. “It was my father’s dream that I study at an IIM. As an engineer, I have always looked for technical solutions. However, after coming here, I have also learnt how important business acumen is,” said the candidate from North Karnataka.

For Sanjeev Kumar PS (best all-rounder performance), it was a marathon which will continue.

“It’s been a marathon managing work, family and studies. I came here looking for right solutions, but here I learnt that it is important to ask the right questions. Now that I’ve won a gold medal, the marathon will get extended”,” he said.
