Two people were arrested late Thursday for allegedly manufacturing and selling duplicate automobiles parts. CID Crime Branch officials raided a Changodar godown and made the arrests. Duplicate accessories worth Rs 23.04 lakh were recovered from the godown.
Acting on a tip-off, the sleuths raided Panchratan Estate at Changodar GIDC. The accused have been identified as Abay Bansari and Shripal Bansari. The accused were allegedly working with one Sheryansh Jain and another Hitendra Gohil. The cops are looking for the two.
"A complaint has been lodged with Changodar police. The raid was conducted by CID officials. Later, a complaint was lodged with us. We are searching for the two wanted to be accused," VA Charan, Inspector of Changodar police station, said.
