The sweltering weather conditions prevailing in the city is giving a tough time to Amdavadis, with the maximum temperature again surpassing the 44 degrees Celsius mark. The city, on Friday, recorded a maximum temperature of 44.2 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees above normal. While the Met had predicted a minor dip in temperature owing to the change in the wind pattern, nothing of that sort happened and the temperature continues to remain high in the city.
Met predicted that the maximum temperature in the city will continue to remain around 43-44 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature is expected to be around 28-29 degrees Celsius. Post the 48-hour period, the maximum temperatures in the city might move southwards by a degree or two.
