Maximum temperature was 27.1 degC on Tuesday

According to Skymet Weather, the change in weather is associated with the cyclonic circulation that is expected to form over South Rajasthan and Gujarat

The city will witness partly cloudy weather conditions on Wednesday, according to the city Met department.

They said the change in weather was because of an induced cyclonic circulation over Punjab and neighbouring areas, along with a trough line extending up to South Rajasthan. Light rainfall is also expected in parts of the state. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature is likely to remain around 28 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be around 16 degrees Celsius. The temperature in the city has been fluctuating in the past few days owing to drizzle in pockets. A predominantly overcast sky and subsequent rise in humidity levels have led to a shift in the weather, especially the temperature at night.

According to Skymet Weather, the change in weather is associated with the cyclonic circulation that is expected to form over South Rajasthan and Gujarat. The weather conditions are likely to give rise to warm and humid winds from the Arabian Sea, which in turn, might lead to a rise in temperatures, they said. Though the weather forecast agency ruled out the possibility of heavy rainfall, they said some areas of the city were likely to experience rain in spells.

On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was at 27.1 degrees Celsius, three degrees below the expected mark. The minimum temperature was 18.1 degrees Celsius, which is five degrees more than what was expected.
