The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), on Wednesday, announced that the SSC and HSC examination will begin from March 7. The exams for class 10 and class 12 will be over latest by March 23. Examination for HSC Science repeaters, or those who missed the exams previously, will be held between February 18 and 20.
For SSC, the first day will have Gujarati language paper followed by science on March 9, maths on March 12, social science on March 14, English (second language) on March 16, Gujarati (second language) on March 18 and Hindi on March 19.
For HSC general stream, elements of accounting paper will be held on March 7, history and philosophy on March 8, statistics on March 9, geography on March 11, economics on March 12, social science and business math on March 13, psychology on March 14 and political science and sociology on March 23.
For Sindhi medium students, the board has clarified that the students can either appear in Sindhi Devnagri script or Sindhi Arabic script.
Meanwhile, the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) for admissions in degree, diploma pharmacy courses after Class 12 Science will be conducted on March 30, for Group A, Group B and Group AB. The exam will take place between 10 am to 4 pm at district level centres.
Physics and chemistry papers will be combined, having 40 questions each for physics and chemistry. There will be a total of 80 questions and 80 marks in the 120-minute long exam. Students will have to apply online by paying Rs 300, dates of which will be announced by the board soon.

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test for admissions in degree, diploma pharmacy courses after Class 12 Science will be conducted on March 30, for Group A, Group B and Group AB
