Vijay Rupani's health stable, all events on Sunday cancelled

Chief Minister Rupani's health, on Saturday morning, had suddenly collapsed following an intestinal infection.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani's health is reportedly stable now. The doctors, however, have prescribed him to be at rest until Sunday and therefore, the chief minister's office(CMO) has cancelled all his engagements and appointments for the day.

Sources in the CMO said, "The chief minister's health is stable and has been improving since Saturday morning. The swelling in his intestine has been treated. However, doctors have advised him to avoid travelling for another day and to take rest. He has, therefore, decided to cancel all his public and private engagements."

"Rupani took liquid food throughout the day and was feeling energetic. He has cancelled programmes on Sunday as a pre-emptive measure since, his schedule on Monday and Tuesday is pretty packed considering the Prime Minister's visit to Gujarat," the sources further said.

Chief Minister Rupani's health, on Saturday morning, had suddenly collapsed following an intestinal infection. He could not attend any event including the one wherein Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was present. He had to return to Ahmedabad from Rajkot after his health deteriorated further. The doctors' team at the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital diagnosed intestinal swelling and advised him to take rest.
