But many government teachers in Muzaffarnagar and Shamli of UP have been deployed on duty in the Kanwar Yatra.

The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday decided to suspend its order for digital attendance of teachers till further orders and constituted a committee to submit its report on the issue. Moreover, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also stopped the bulldozer action from taking place in Pantnagar, Lucknow. The people of Pantnagar themselves had come with a plea, and CM Yogi accepted it. With his first decision, CM Yogi made the government teachers of UP happy.

UP teachers in Kanwar Yatra

You have seen teachers going from house to house administering pulse polio drops, or roaming around with census registers and doing duty in elections. But if you have not seen them doing duty in the Kanwar Yatra, then see it now. Many government teachers in Muzaffarnagar and Shamli of UP have been deployed on duty in the Kanwar Yatra.

The Kanwar duty of teachers is for the entire 20 days. It is for 24 hours in which there are 3 shifts. The duty of teachers is in the 'lost and found department'.

If any traveller loses something during the Kanwar Yatra, then these teachers have to take care of it. The most interesting thing is that duty has been assigned, and teachers are also doing their duty, but it is not known from where this order comes and who gave it.

Some people do not even want to get to the root of this because it is a religious matter. But many teachers are angry, they are saying that it has been 15 days since the schools have opened. If they will do duty during Kanwar, then when will they teach the children? But there is no answer to the basic question where did this order come from?
