For the last 4 days, the politics of the country has been going around Uttar Pradesh. What is going on between CM Yogi and Deputy CM Keshav Maurya? Why are the BJP leaders silent? Why are they not giving any clues? Sources say that BJP will now have two power centers in Uttar Pradesh. The government will be with CM Yogi Adityanath and the organization will be with Keshav Prasad Maurya. This means that those in UP BJP who are seeing CM Yogi and Deputy CM Keshav Maurya as the North and South Pole, are right to a large extent.
Maurya can go back to the organization and will tighten the organization. The deputy CM said on Wednesday the organization is bigger than the government. No one is bigger than the organization. Why will Yogi Adityanath remain the CM and Keshav Maurya in the organization? The reason behind this is the track record of both, the needs of the party in UP, and to a great extent some compulsions.
Yogi Adityanath is the second most popular face of the party after Prime Minister Modi. A section of the party sees Yogi as the future PM. Yogi is the biggest brand of hardcore Hindutva in BJP. He is BJP's brand as a strict administrator.
Yogi Adityanath was the most in-demand in BJP after Prime Minister Modi during the Lok Sabha campaign. Now you also know the USP of Keshav Prasad Maurya in UP. Keshav Maurya reached BJP while being a campaigner of Sangh, VHP and Bajrang Dal, he is a big OBC leader.
The credit for giving BJP the biggest victory in UP till date goes to Keshav Maurya as the President. In UP, there were different BJP state presidents in the last 2 Lok Sabha and 2 Vidhan Sabha elections i.e. in 4 elections and Keshav Prasad Maurya had the highest strike rate among these four.
BJP says that all its efforts are focused on the 10 by-elections. But Samajwadi Party and Congress are still concluding that BJP is going to play some game with CM Yogi. However, Keshav Maurya addressed Akhilesh Yadav and said that both the organization and the government are strong.
