BMW Motorrad India has unveiled the BMW CE 04, priced at Rs 14.90 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most expensive scooter and electric two-wheeler in the country. Deliveries are set to begin in September.

The BMW CE 04 is powered by a 42hp/120Nm permanent-magnet liquid-cooled synchronous motor paired with an 8.5kWh battery. It boasts an acceleration from 0-50kmph in just 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 120kmph.

Equipped with a 2.3kW integrated home charger, the BMW CE 04 can be charged from 0-80% in 3 hours 30 minutes. The scooter offers a claimed range of 130km on a full charge.

With a seat height of 780mm and a kerb weight of 231kg, the BMW CE 04 rides on 15-inch wheels. It features telescopic forks, a pre-load adjustable rear suspension, BMW Motorrad ABS, and automatic stability control (ASC).

The electric scooter is equipped with LED lights (headlight, taillight, and turn indicators), a 10.25-inch coloured TFT screen, an on-board computer, car-type vehicle charging, a storage compartment with charging function, welcome light, windshield, keyless ride, reversing aid, and a side stand with park brake actuator.

Optional packages include the Comfort package, which provides heated grips and a backrest comfort seat, and the Dynamic package, offering riding modes pro, headlight pro, ABS pro, adaptive headlight, and DRLs.
