Nissan unveils X-Trail in India

Nissan launched its latest SUV, X-Trail, in India, whose prices will be announced on August 1, 2024.

Nissan has launched the India-spec X Trail in India on July 17. The three-row SUV is the second model after Magnite to be launched in India. The prices will be announced on 1 August. The fourth generation X-Trail is fueled by a robust 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, boasting an impressive 160bhp and a peak torque of 300Nm.

Packed with advanced features, the X Trail boasts an impressive eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, providing easy access to entertainment and navigation. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with a high-tech 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, offering a futuristic driving experience.

Meanwhile, Nissan unveiled the X-Trail in India two years back in 2022 with Kashqai and the Juke, heightening the expectation that it would come with both 2WD and AWD drivetrains.

Here is a list of four large SUVs that are set to give a tough challenge to X-Trail

1. Jeep  Meridian

It is a popular choice in the Indian automotive market, offering a base model starting at Rs. 33.43 Lakh and a top-tier model priced at Rs. 51.44 Lakh (Avg. ex-showroom).

3. MG Gloster

The MG Gloster is a six and seven seater SUV, priced from Rs. 38.79 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs. 46.83 lakh (ex-showroom) with a single engine option. In addition to the cutting-edge infotainment system, the MG Gloster boasts an 8-inch fully digital driver's display. 4. Skoda Kodiaq

The Skoda Kodiaq, a versatile 7-seater SUV, offers a premium driving experience with a price range between Rs. 38.50 - 39.99 Lakh.
