The much-awaited launch of Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will finally take place tomorrow (July 17). Bike enthusiasts are thrilled that the launch of this new 450cc bike has been discreetly revealed through sneak peeks and teasers that highlight its sleek look and notable features.
Although more details will be unveiled after the official launch tomorrow, the Royal Enfield's Guerrilla 450 holds on to some signature design features that make it stand out, such as its distinctive circular headlamp, off-set circular instrument console, and rounded rear-view mirrors.
However, most of the components are new, featuring a robust fuel tank, a floating tail section, and a single-piece seat.
Other additions include split grab handles, an underbelly bash plate, and a compact exhaust muffler that reminds one of the Himalayan 450.
Moreover, the instrument cluster of the Guerrilla 450 is expected to be a part-digital LCD unit or a fully digital TFT unit.
The motorcycle comes packed with several features including Bluetooth compatibility, a shining LED headlamp, flashing LED winkers, different riding styles to choose from, and even a USB port for charging.
Just like the Himalayan 450 model, this motorcycle also has the same single-cylinder, 452cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, EFI engine, which produces an impressive 40PS power along with a peak torque of 40Nm. This is perfectly paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Although the price of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will be confirmed tomorrow, reports suggest it is expected to be priced around Rs 2.3 lakh (ex-showroom).
The bike will rival established models like Triumph Speed 400, Hero Hero Maverick 440, KTM 390 Duke, etc.
