The company has been teasing the Curvv for some time, with one teaser stating, "A new icon – A new silhouette – An SUV coupé. #TataCURVV #TataCurvvEV - coming soon." The teaser reveals a silhouette of the car along with some design elements.

Tata currently offers four electric cars: Tiago EV (Rs 7.99 lakh), Punch EV (Rs 10.99 lakh), Tigor EV (Rs 12.49 lakh), and the Nexon EV (Rs 14.49 lakh). The Curvv EV is expected to be priced slightly higher than the Nexon EV.

Tata previously announced that the electric version of the Curvv will be the first to hit the market, followed by internal combustion engine (ICE) models.

The Curvv EV is expected to feature a tall bumper with a wide air dam, inspired by the design of its larger siblings, the Harrier and Safari facelifts.

In terms of powertrain, the Curvv EV is anticipated to offer an impressive range of 400-500 km on a single charge, thanks to its larger battery pack, which is significantly more than the Nexon EV's 30.2 kWh battery pack. It is also expected to have a dual-motor setup, providing all-wheel drive capability for better performance on various terrains.

Additional features expected include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and more.
