TVS launches superbike Apache RR 310 at Rs 2.05 lakh

Home based TVS Motors on Wednesday launched its new sports bike - Apache RR 310. Priced at Rs 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom), the company claims that the sports bike can give its contempararies a run for their money. 

The newly launched bike was first time unveiled as the Akula 310 race bike concept at the 2016 Auto Expo. TVS Apache RR 310, one of the must awaited bik ein the 300 cc section has been hevaily inspired from its concept model including the aerodynamic front fairing with a large windscreen. The fairing, however, gets some changes like addition of aggressive split headlamp with projector beams.

While the front silhouette is exactly similar to the concept model, the rear gets a lot of noticeable changes. The Apache RR 310 gets a sleek rear section with seating for two and an interesting LED tail lamp.

The superbike is available in two colours red and black.

The bike boasts of 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with the BMW G 310 R which is manufactured in India at TVS' facility. The fuel injected motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and churns out 34PS at 9,700rpm and a peak torque of 27.3Nm at 7,700rpm.

The newly launched bike from Apache has to compete with the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Benelli 302R among other market players.
