Fire broke out in a garage in Banashankari III Stage on Monday afternoon, gutting nine buses and two cars. There were no injuries due to the fire.

The incident took place at 1pm in Chandru Garage, Gururaja Layout. Seven fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire by 3pm. The police and fire department officials said preliminary investigation revealed that welding sparks caused the fire.
