Indian Air Force to host exhibition

The Indian Air Force will organise an exhibition—IAF-A Global Force to Reckon with—at Orion Mall on September 8 and 9 to showcase its capabilities and to woo youngsters.

The Indian Air Force will organise an exhibition—IAF-A Global Force to Reckon with—at Orion Mall on September 8 and 9 to showcase its capabilities and to woo youngsters.

“A similar exhibition was held in New Delhi and based on the positive feedback, we chose Bangalore to host this show,” said Air Commodore Dharam Veer, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station, Jalahalli.

Life-sized models of aircraft used during WWII to contemporary fighters and transporters of IAF will be on display. Visitors will get to see an elite team of air warriors performing a drill with classic WWII vintage rifles. A live performance by Air Warriors Symphony Orchestra will be conducted at Chowdiah.

Visitors will also get a feel of flying in simulators. Another attraction would be an IAF themed gaming arcade. An IAF adventure stall will be part of the exhibition which will provide information on adventure activities of IAF. ‘Fly Your Dreams’ a combination of an exhibition and screening of documentaries on IAF, will also be organised.
