Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa today accepted Governor's offer to take a confidence vote in the Karnataka Assembly on Oct 14.
"I am going to seek a vote of confidence on the 14th at 11 AM," he told reporters after a meeting of top BJP leaders at the residence of senior leader LK Advani.
"I am confident of winning the vote of confidence on 14th," he said reading out a brief message.
Out of the 105 MLAs supporting the BJP, 100 are said to have attended the meeting at Advani's house. Three others are said to be "in touch" with the party while there is reportedly a question on the loyalty of yet another MLA Manappa Vajjal.
