Former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa on Saturday lashed out at the media for blowing the porngate issue out of proportion.
“You (referring to presspersons) also watch the porn movies. Similarly, they have also watched it, which is not a big issue,” he said at a press conference in Shimoga.
An agitated Yeddyurappa vented his ire on the press fraternity by insisting that they have made a mountain out of a molehill. He said that instead of continuing to harp on porngate, the press should show how the BJP government’s policies have put the state on the path of development.
Yeddyurappa, who has been vying to return to power, counts on his trusted lieutenants to fulfil his ambition.
The former chief minister’s outburst against media on Saturday came after the seer of Harihar Panchamashali mutt, Siddalingeshwara, who was once his supporter, said that Yeddyurappa had become the chief minister because of his own calibre and not because of support in the party.
