Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Masaba Gupta, Neena Gupta, Anushka Ranjan, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Anu Ranjan enjoyed a themed get together.

Since childhood, Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt are pretty close friends with Masaba Gupta, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Anushka Ranjan. Their throwback photos make people go 'aww' instantly and even now they are thickest of friends. Interestingly, so are their mothers Soni Razdan, Neena Gupta and Anu Ranjan. Over the weekend, the mothers and their daughters had a day out and shared a few photos of the same on their Instagram pages.

In the photos, all of them seem to have opted for white top and blue jeans theme but Masaba seems to have misplaced her invitation. The ace fashion designer wore a dark green asymmetrical outfit with knee-high boots.

Masaba shared the photo along with an edited version to match up with others who are colour coordinated. She captioned the post stating, "Swipe to see how Masaba forgot the dress-code & tried to make her dress white cos she got shouted at but ending up looking like a ghost! mommies & daughters."

Recently, Masaba became an actor with her Netflix original show titled Masaba Masaba. In the show, she starred alongside her mother Neena playing her reel mother.

Earlier while talking about Masaba foraying into acting, Neena had told Rajeev Masand that she had discouraged her from it. She said, "I told her ‘If you want to be an actor then you go abroad. Jis tarah tumhara shakal hai, body hai, tumhe yahan Indian milieu mein bahot kam role milenge (The way you look, the way your body is, you will get very few roles in the Indian milieu) even if you become a good actor. So tumko woh heroine nahin milegi. Toh Hema Malini nahin banoge, Alia Bhatt nahin banoge (You will never become a heroine, you will never become Hema Malini, you will never become an Alia Bhatt)."
