Earlier, on Sunday, 'Dil Bechara' director Mukesh Chhabra confirmed that Fardeen is in fact making his comeback in Bollywood.

Fardeen Khan is back and is making headlines for his astonishing physical transformation. The actor, who hasn't done a film in over a decade -- his last outing was 'Dulha Mil Gaya' in 201 -- is gearing up for films and sets once again, only this time, he is looking fitter than ever.

In May 2016, Fardeen was trolled for gaining weight to a level he was almost unrecognisable. But on Sunday, fresh photos of Fardeen which surfaced online showed the actor flaunting his new look after he underwent a dramatic weight loss in the last six months.

In a recent interview with Times of India, Fardeen, who is excited about his comeback in films, spoke about his weight loss journey and physical transformation.

On being asked if this new look was his answer to social media trolls who had mercilessly trolled him back in 2016, Fardeen said, "I had stepped back then. I was happy. It was this year that I wasn't feeling 25 anymore. I wanted to physically feel 25. As you grow older, body degeneration catches up with you. I wanted to feel very, very good again. You need to think about it as a body-mind connection. I came across this in some reading I was doing. I started eating right and healthy coupled it with correct workouts. I have lost 18 kg in the last six months, but 35 per cent journey is yet to go in this aspect. In the work that we do in our industry, you are expected to look your best and you indeed want to look your best."

Fardeen also said that currently he is feeling like he is 30 but the target is to feel like 25.

During his interaction, Fardeen revealed that he shifted to London because his wife and he were facing challenges having kids. He said, "We moved to London, purely because we were facing challenges in having kids. I wanted to be the major support to my wife in that phase. Also when I saw my bundles of joy, I wanted to take my own sweet time and spend time with them. My daughter is now 7, my son is 3."

The actor disclosed that since 2010-2011 he has spent most of his time in London but since the last one month he has been in Mumbai. He also revealed that his family is planning to be in Mumbai for the next year.

Opening up on his plans to direct films, Fardeen told Times of India, "The plan to produce and direct films is very much on. But for now, I return to acting with full focus and energy. There are opportunities and I am testing the waters. What all comes my way and what I will take up, to start with, is still not finalised."

Earlier, on Sunday, 'Dil Bechara' director Mukesh Chhabra confirmed that Fardeen is in fact making his comeback in Bollywood.

In an interview, Mukesh said, "We are exploring opportunities. He (Fardeen) is back! Looking good."
