Video: Sara Ali Khan's rhyming skills gives 'Atrangi Re' co-star Akshay Kumar a headache

Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan kickstarted the Agra schedule of Atrangi Re on Monday. The actors were seen shooting for the film at Taj Mahal. Moreover, Akshay even donned the Shah Jahan attire for a sequence and Sara shared the photo on her Instagram page. Later on, Khan took to her IGTV and shared a video with Akshay showing her poetic skills. However, Akshay didn't look pleased on hearing it. 

In the video, Sara is heard saying, "While the Taj is wahaan, Mr Kumar is yahaan." After keeping his hand on forehead, Akshay calls Sara's attempt at rhyming 'ghatiya' but appreciated her efforts. Soon after that, Sara gave a tour of Taj Mahal like a guide with a few retakes.

The Coolie No 1 actor captioned the video stating, "Namaste Darshako from Taj Mahal."

Dhanush also shared a photo while posing at the Taj Mahal and wrote, "No caption needed."

Atrangi Re is directed by Aanand L Rai, and it's Akshay and Sara's first outing with the director. Rai has reunited with his Raanjhanaa actor Dhanush for the film.

Meanwhile, Sara had kickstarted Atrangi Re shoot earlier this year in Banaras. The schedule was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic and was resumed in October this year. Dhanush and Sara shot for the film in Madhurai while the latter joined Akshay in Greater Noida later.

Aanand had cleared that Akshay is not having a cameo in the film but will be seen in a very special role. Atrangi Re was set to be a Valentine's Day weekend release in 2021.
