In a recent interview, Bollywood singer Kailash Kher opened up about the time when he considered suicide

Bollywood singer Kailash Kher was introduced to the industry after a long time. He found success in his single 'Teri Deewani' after which he started bagging projects slowly. Kher has now completed 15 years in the industry and when he looks back, the singer finds his inspiration.

However, the inspiration came at a cost - with dejection and thoughts of considering suicide. The same happened after Kailash Kher came to Mumbai with dreams of becoming a singer, in the times of the pop culture and Sonu, Shaan already establishing a strong base in music.

Before being recognized for 'Teri Deewani', Kailash Kher faced rejection from every corner. While talking to Times of India, he said that the dejection even made him want to kill himself.

"When I came to Mumbai, I faced a lot of rejections. I was so dejected in life that I even tried to kill myself," he was heard saying.

However, ever since, Kher has followed a mantra, which is - 'Jo toot kar bana, jise maut ne jana, wo aur kya toote, wo aur kya mare (No one can break a person who has become successful by thriving and surviving the consistent defeats).'

"I had lost everything and had nothing else to lose and that is what inspired me," he shared.

Not very long ago, legendary Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam had stated that surviving in the industry is quite difficult in their profession. He had alleged that while their is mafia in acting, there is a bigger mafia in singing.

After 'Teri Deewani', Kailash Kher had gained fame for songs like 'Chaand Sifarish', 'Ya Rabba', 'Yun Hi Chala', 'Allah Ke Bande' and 'Arziyan'. He had also worked on the 'Baahubali' song 'Kaun Hai Voh'.
