In this still, a teenaged Sunny Leone can be seen spending some quality time with her (onscreen) father. We've seen in the film's trailer that her father always encouraged her to take her own decisions and pursue a career of her choice.

Just like any other ordinary girl, Sunny Leone had a traditional Sikh upbringing. She constantly battled the issues grappling her family.

Sunny Leone had to face a lot while she was growing up. The immigrant issues and her father's alcoholism along with the financial problems of the Vohra family have been captured well in the biopic

Sunny Leone will be seen making some tough decisions of her life in the biopic. In one of her interviews she had mentioned that she wasn't sure how people will react to the story of her life

"In the biopic, everyone will get to see Karenjit Kaur Vohra. Karenjit is the real me. Sunny Leone is just a brand that I created. What people see in a song or a film or maybe a photoshoot, it's just a persona," Sunny Leone had earlier told ANI in an interview

The actress has also told the agency that she's scared about how people will react to her biopic. "I have tried to be as honest as I could be. And that's why I am scared what will people think or say because they'll get to see the good, the bad, the ugly," she said.

Sunny Leone had earlier told PTI that whenever her name is dragged into controversies, she may feel like a "soft target" but does not identify as a "victim".

"I don't see myself as a victim but I may be a soft target. I believe people should have the right to say what they want to, when they want to, how they want to, whether it's right or wrong is their choice and moral stand," she said. 

Speaking about the controversies in which she's dragged every now and then, Sunny Leone said at the launch of her biopic, "Most of the time I brush it off because it's nonsense... Sometimes it gets on my nerves. Does it hurt me? No. Is it annoying? Yes," she said at the launch of her biopic."

The actress was asked if there were portions from her life which she did not want the film to explore. To this, Sunny Leone said, "A lot (of them)".

Sunny Leone described the process of narrating her story to the show's writers as full of "laugh and a lot of tears".

"It had to make sense to our story. So whether it was a good thing or bad, I had to tell it all. We sat for six months where I just told stories about myself and from those stories we have made 20 episodes," she said.

The actress also shared that she was nervous about sharing her story with the world. 

"I'm still trying to get convinced if I did the right thing but what Aditya (director) has shot, it's really beautiful. I'm happy the director let me be me," Sunny Leone said at the launch of her biopic. 

"I'm still on the fence whether it was the right choice or the wrong. I know deep down it was the right choice. I'm just scared, that's all," she added.
