Box Office Report: 'India's Most Wanted', 'PM Narendra Modi' receive poor opening; 'Aladdin' beats both Bollywood movies

India's Most Wanted is made on a budget of Rs. 37 crore as compared to PM Narendra Modi's budget of Rs. 8 crore. Aladdin's budget, on the other hand, is Rs. 12,69,66,31,500 (one thousand sixty-nine crore, sixty-six lakh, thirty one thousand and five hundred).

Since Arjun Kapoor starrer India's Most Wanted looked promising, the movie was expected to open at Rs. 3-4 crore. Meanwhile Vivek Oberoi's PM Narendra Modi was predicted to collect Rs. 1.5 crore on day 1. The Hollywood release Aladdin is expected to make Rs. 4, 85, 66, 35, 000 (fourty hundred eighty-five crore, sixty-six lakh and thirty-five thousand) within four days of its release.

The day one Box Office collections of all the three movies have been unveiled. Arjun Kapoor starrer India's Most Wanted has a very slow start after minting Rs. 2.10 crore. Vivek Oberoi's PM Narendra Modi runs ahead in the race. It has collected Rs. 2.88 crore. Aladdin however beats both the Bollywood movies by kickstarting at Rs. 5.06 crore Indian gross.

Aladdin beats both India's Most Wanted and PM Narendra Modi on first day, however the stakes are extremely high on the movie. It is expected to grow in the Indian markets. On the other hand, Arjun Kapoor's film, which has made a slow start, needs to pick up pace over the weekend in order to be declared a hit, or at least sustain at the Box Office. PM Narendra Modi is expected to see little growth too.

Considering the budget and collections of each film, it will be safe to say that PM Narendra Modi might bring Vivek Oberoi's career back on track. The movie is expected to become the first hit among all the released movies, since it is made on a lower budget and has already recovered 1/4th of the costs.
