The song ‘O Lal Dupatte Wali’ from 1992 film ‘Aankhen’ was big hit with the audiences and people groove to the peppy song till date. The movie, which was the highest grossing film of the year, starred Govinda, Chunky Pandey, Ritu Shivpuri and Raageshwari in the lead roles.

Ritu Shivpuri was a popular face in the 90s. She has worked in several films such as ‘Hum Sab Chor Hai’, ‘Aar Ya Paar’, ‘Lajja’ and many more. 29 years after debut in ‘Aankhen’, let’s have a look at what Ritu Shivpuri looks like now and what is she up to these days.

Ritu made her Bollywood debut with 'Aanken' in 1992. Although Ritu Shivpuri has worked in several Bollywood films, most them didn’t do well at the box office. Ritu was last seen on the big screen in 2006 Punjabi film ‘Ik Jind Ik Jaan’.

After disappearing from the big screen, Ritu Shivpuri turned to the small screen. In the year 2016, she entered the world of television with the show '24'. Ritu was also seen in ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’, ‘Nazar’, ‘Vish’ and ‘Karenjit Kaur - The Untold Story of Sunny Leone’. However, after 2019, the actress did not do any show on television as well.

You will be surprised to know that Ritu Shivpuri is the daughter of well-known and late actor Om Shivpuri. Om Shivpuri used to play the role of villain often in the 70s. Not only this, Ritu's mother Sudha Shivpuri is also popular and is known for her role as Baa in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’.

Ritu Shivpuri looks stunning even at the age of 49, although she looks much younger in her pictures. Her photos and video on social media sets the internet on fire.

Ritu Shivpuri is married to Hari Venkat. The couple has two daughters, Samara and Raayah and a son, Rohail.
