Bollywood diva Yami Gautam and ‘Uri’ director Aditya Dhar tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony. The actor posted a photo from the ceremony on her Instagram handle o Friday (June 4).
Not only did the couple shock their fans but they managed to surprise their friends as well. Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar broke the wedding news on their respective Instagram handles.
They quoted Rumi in the caption and in a joint statement said, “With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes.”

She wore a deep-red silk saree, traditional pahaadi nose ring and gold jewellery. She teamed that with a matching blouse and veil with a golden border.
Complimenting his bride, Aditya Dhar donned a white and cream coloured sherwani with a golden floral patterns on it. He styled the look with a matching turban.

Aditya Dhar made his directorial debut with ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ for which he won the best director award at the 66th National Film Awards in 2019. The film starred Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam. Meanwhile, Yami, who made her Bollywood debut with Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Vicky Donor’ will next be seen in Ramesh Taurani’s ‘Bhoot Police’ which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles.
