We got our hands on Sushant Singh Rajput's bank statement and the transactions show money spent on 'puja samagri' in one month.
Sushant Singh Rajput's bank statement shows five important transactions which were made in the name of 'puja samagri'. Dated from July 10, 2019, to August 15, 2019. Post that date, there's no transaction for Puja, however, from giving money to Pandit to buying things needed for Puja, everything is mentioned in his bank statement. There are transactions which include 'To Colg Feroz Ahmed Shaikh' for about Rs 5,27,777. While another one read as 'MB: Medical for Rhea' amount Rs 9,400. These two transactions took place on July 11, 2019.
On July 14, 2019, Rs 62,179 was spent on Waterstones Hotel in Mumbai. The same day, Rs 45,000 was paid for Pooja Samagri. There has been another transaction made in the name of 'CLG Shruti Modi' for about Rs 63,000 on August 9, 2019. Whereas 'To Colg Feroz Ahmed Shaikh' transaction was made again on August 14, 2020, for the same amount mentioned above.
Sushant's family has claimed that Rs 15 crore transaction has been made by Rhea Chakraborty. The case is registered under Sections 341 (wrongful restraint), 342 (wrongful confinement), 380 (theft), 406 (breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 306 (abetment to suicide) of the IPC. Patna Police has been asked to research this matter and take action.
Meanwhile, as per ANI, Sushant's friend and roommate Siddharth Pithani on Friday claimed that the family of the deceased actor asked him to mention a transaction of Rs 15 crore in his statement to the police. However, he said that he does not know about this transaction and has informed the police about his conversation with Rajput`s family.
He said, "Sushant's family members told me about a Rs 15-crore transaction made by Rhea and asked me to mention this in my statement. I told his family members that I will only tell what I know and believe. They asked me to come to Patna. I met them after Sushant's death."
