Filmmaker Umesh Shukla's brings back the evergreen jodi of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor to the big screen after a gap of 27 years. Their film '102 Not Out' hit the screen on Friday and has earned praises for the two legendary actors but with slow start at the box office.
Following the opening of the movie, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Like most content-driven films aimed at families, #102NotOut started on a slow note, but gathered momentum from evening onwards... While Amitabh Bachchan character bursts with optimism, Rishi Kapoor plays the role of a son who lives a dull life, without much to look forward to. 102 Not Out trailer gave us a glimpse of the cool baap who wants to live his life to the fullest and how he deals with his pessimistic son. With the positive word of mouth surrounding the film, the movie is expected to witness a considerable jump over the weekend.
