Well that's exactly what happened to the fans of Amitabh Bachchan who watched 102 Not Out on Thursday at PVR Cinemas. Fans of Amitabh Bachchan were in for an extraordinary surprise as they not only got an opportunity to watch the film before the rest of the world, but also got a once in a lifetime opportunity to interact with the legendary actor through a Facebook Live stream. This was possible through a unique partnership between 102 Not Out, Facebook and PVR Cinemas.
Umesh Shukla, the director of the film was already ecstatic to direct such a legendary duo and now this unique idea has added another feather to his hat. “I am very thankful to PVR cinemas and Facebook to incorporate such a unique idea for this unique film. This experience was indeed eventful for the moviegoers," said the director.
A special contest was conducted on the film's social media pages and few lucky winners from Mumbai and Delhi were selected to watch 102 Not Out before it released worldwide. But the biggest surprise came when the film ended and the legend Amitabh Bachchan, for the first time ever, came on the silver screen for a live interaction with the audiences who just watched their film.
During the conversation, we not only saw Amitabh ask the audience for feedback, but we also saw him share some really interesting anecdotes of his life. It touched the hearts of many and the crowd cheered and hooted as he said good bye. All in and all, it was a fantastic surprise for the movie goers and a really sweet gesture by the 102 Not Out stars.
