Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who has been in the news of late for his biopic on 'PM Narendra Modi', has stirred up a sixteen-year-old row with Salman Khan.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, he was asked which is that one question that he would like to ask Salman Khan and to everyone's surprise Vivek chose to answer that. He told the portal that he would ask Salman, "Do you truly believe in forgiveness?"
Nearly 16 years ago in 2003, Vivek had called a press conference in which he had accused Salman of calling him 41 times in a drunken state and threatening to kill him if he did not stay away from his ex girlfriend Aishwarya Rai (now Bachchan). The conference didn't just have a damaging effect on his relationship with Aishwarya but it also led to his downfall in Bollywood.

In a 2017 interview with Mumbai Mirror, recounting that phase from his life, Vivek had said, "It was like a fatwa was issued against me from the powers that be."
“When my personal life got messed up, I couldn’t keep my eye on the ball. Even if I gave a hit, work wouldn’t follow. Shootout at Lokhandwala became a huge hit, but I sat at home for a year after that.”
The positive response to webseries 'Inside Edge' and appreciation for his role in the Tamil film, 'Vivegam', brought Vivek back on the map.
He is currently awaiting the release of the much-talked about Modi biopic, which was intially supposed to hit the screens on April 12.
