The much-awaited film will hit theatres on November 29.

As promised, the makers of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's 2.0 released the teaser on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on Thursday. The sequel to blockbuster Robot, 2.0 promises to be a complete CGI fest. The 1.31-minutes-long teaser is full of special effects trickery and it ends with a menacing chuckle from Thalaiva himself.

Rajinikanth returns to play the double role of good-hearted scientist Vaseekaran and bad brained robot Chitti. Together they will have to stop Akshay Kumar's evil, ugly, mad scientist Richard. From the looks of the teaser, we can see that Richard will be taking advantage of the mobile phone addiction of commoners to wreck havoc in the cities.

In true VFX/CGI style, these smartphones are bonded together to create hawk-like bird, but only 10 times bigger and eviler. By controlling this bird, Richard aka Crow poses a challenge that only Chitti will be able to put an end to.

Teaser tips hats to the scenes from Robot in which we see thousands of Chittis bonding together to cage the bird and the iconic rolling machine gun scene.
