Ram Madhvani also went on to reveal that Sushmita Sen's comeback show 'Aarya' was previously going to be called 'Khooni Kaur'

Ram Madhvani, who has helmed Sushmita Sen's comeback show called 'Aarya', stated that the show has not been inspired by Arya Stark from 'Game Of Thrones'. More so, he clarified that 'Aarya' is an Indian name and 'Game Of Thrones' used it.

"No, the name of the show is not at all inspired by Arya Stark. It was inspired nine years back, when 'Game Of Thrones' didn't exist. Arya is an Indian name. Instead, they used an Indian name in 'Game Of Thrones'," said Ram Madhvani, who is also a fan of the show.

At the virtual trailer launch of the show 'Aarya', he further spilled that the title 'Arya' was previously going to be 'Khooni Kaur'. Meanwhile actor Sikander Kher revealed Ram Madhvani always apologized for giving him the character of Daulat, something that Kher couldn't understand. He said, "I would always choose Daulat. I don't know why Ram Madhvani kept apologizing to me. Of course, it would be my choice after Aarya, but then again, I can't play Aarya (laughs)."

Along with Sushmita Sen, Chandrachur Singh also makes a comeback with 'Aarya'. He plays the role of Sen's husband on the show, who gets killed as per the trailer. Singh, who had to take a break from movies owing to his injury, said, "I can't ask for a better comeback. There was a time I had to prioritize my personal life. I would blame life for what happened, but now I'm back and excited to go back to work again even after 'Aarya'."
