Rumours of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai's separation have been doing rounds on social media. Recently, the couple added fuel to the rumours when they posed separately at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding. Now, the actor has reacted to a post on Instagram, which talked about divorce.
On Thursday, a Reddit user shared a screenshot of an article for Indian Express' Eye magazine which talked about divorce and Abhishek Bachchan's like on it. The words on the post read, "When love stops being easy." The caption read, "Divorce is never easy for anyone. Who doesn’t dream of a happily ever after or envision recreating those heartwarming videos of elderly couples holding hands as they cross the street? Yet, sometimes life doesn’t unfold as we hoped. But how do people cope when they separate after decades together, after spending a significant portion of their lives relying on each other for both big and small things?"

Netizens trolled the actor for not refraining from liking such posts. One of the comments read, "What a toxic family." Another wrote, "Whatever works for her and him..better single and happy than being married and miserable." Another comment read, "Bachchans are weird! They go all out to put out a show when it's a freaking broken family to the core." Another user wrote, "He could have avoided this. It's strange that these actions come from people who are used to maintaining their public image."
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan will now be seen playing the role of a villain opposite Shah Rukh Khan in King. The film also stars Suhana Khan and will reportedly be directed by Sujoy Ghosh. He also has Housefull 5 in the pipeline which stars Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Chunky Pandey in key roles. Aishwarya Rai, on the other hand has not announced any of her projects yet after the success of Ponniyin Selvan II.
